Brace yourselves, Black Friday is on November 27 this year, but the Walmart Black Friday Billboard is altering the game by extending Black Friday bargains online and in stores across three weekends in November to reduce crowds.

On October 14, the company announced its “Black Friday Deals for Days” event. Walmart is one of the first mega-retailers to openly disclose revised Black Friday plans, providing a preview of what Black Friday will most likely look like for all shops in the COVID-19 age.

When Will Walmart Black Friday Sale Begin?

Walmart's first Black Friday event began with deals online on November 4 at 7 p.m. EST, followed by new savings in stores on November 7 at 5 a.m. local time.

The second event includes online specials beginning November 11 at 7 p.m. EST and more offerings beginning November 14 at 12 a.m. EST. New in-store promotions begin on November 14 at 5 a.m. local time.

The third and final event will feature online offers beginning at 12 a.m. EST on November 25 and in-store deals beginning at 5 a.m. local time on November 27.

Walmart’s Curbside Pickup is for the First Time with Safety Measures

For the first time this year, Walmart is allowing shoppers to shop for Black Friday discounts online and then pick up the merchandise at a contactless curbside pickup location.

There will be "Health Ambassadors" on hand at the in-store events to ensure that shoppers form a single, straight line, use sanitized shopping carts, and wear a mask. Shoppers will move to the right side of aisles to maintain social distance and ensure safe shopping.
