"My Goyard Tote was purchased three years ago. I was in New York for work and decided to pay the store a visit because there were only a few sites in the United States where you could view the bags in person at the time. I wasn't planning on purchasing one, but I had a Pretty Woman moment and decided to 'reward myself.' 

On the cab ride out of the store, my elation quickly changed to fear as I realized I had just spent the equivalent of a mini-vacation on what is essentially just a canvas tote. While I did have some buyer's regret at first, it turned out to be an excellent investment.

Here are my final thoughts after extensive research. The Goyard St Louis Tote is long-lasting, high-end, and traditional, with enough capacity for anything you need to transport. It's also a status symbol for fashionistas all around the world. However, it is quite expensive, the straps aren't very comfy when the bag is heavy, and the tote doesn't shut with a top zipper.
