Following A Customer Petition, McDonald's Has Announced The Return Of A "Cherished" Breakfast Sandwich To Menu

After receiving over 22,000 signatures on a petition to bring back the famous item (particularly the Steak, Egg, and Cheese Bagel), the fast food business ultimately caved and reinstated it in select locations across the country.

According to an exclusive source, the bagels are now available at every site in Indiana and Southwest Michigan. According to the insider, "as of August 1, they are listed on menus at every restaurant, indoors and out, as well as the McDonald's mobile app and McDelivery." Similarly, Fox8 reported that McDonald's stated in a company press statement that "breakfast bagels are returning to Ohio."

There are four sandwich options: Steak, Egg & Cheese, Bacon, Egg & Cheese, Sausage, Egg & Cheese, and Egg & Cheese Bagel. According to the McDonald's website, the fan-favourite Steak, Egg & Cheese Bagel is "a bagel freshly toasted with genuine butter that holds a soft, juicy steak patty, a fluffy folded egg, melty American cheese, and flavorful grilled onions." The Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Bagel, on the other hand, "includes a toasted bagel with butter, thick-cut Applewood smoked bacon, a fluffy folded egg, and two slices of melty American cheese."

The announcement sparked an immediate response on the internet, with some consumers even requesting that the item be made available at their local McDonald's. "Hey, @McDonalds," one person tweeted.
