If you're a regular shopper, you've probably already marked November 26 on your calendar. This year's Black Friday — and the heart of the holiday shopping season — falls on that date.
We've seen a gradual "Black Friday creep" over the last few years. What was once a single day has now consumed the majority of November, if not all of October. Retailers nowadays start the Black Friday hype early (as early as October) with pre-Black Friday bargains, and their official Black Friday online offers begin as early as a week before Thanksgiving. In many respects, Black Friday and Cyber Monday have merged to form a weekend-long shopping marathon, with offers beginning on Black Friday, lasting through Saturday and Sunday, and even more deals beginning on Cyber Monday.

The days of Black Friday deals starting and ending on Black Friday are long gone.
You're right if you think this is all a jumble. That is why you require a strategy. So we're here to assist you in compiling a comprehensive shopping list. Here's our official Black Friday shopping list, including what to purchase and what not to buy.
Note: The collection of deals you are about to read are extracted from the previous four consecutive shopping seasons. This year, things may change. Therefore keep checking back MySavingPoint for updates.
Best Products to Buy This Black Friday
If you're shopping for any of the things below on Black Friday, you can bet they'll be at the best prices of the year. So go ahead and put them in your cart, check out quickly, and enjoy the remainder of your Thanksgiving weekend.
Tablets, Laptops, and Desktop
If you're in the market for a new laptop, desktop, gaming PC, or tablet, now is the time to spend some money. Apple items will be available through other stores such as Best Buy (but not on Apple.com). Moreover, throughout the weekend, HP, Dell, and Lenovo will all be offering online doorbusters. These electronics sales can be difficult to navigate, so look over their Black Friday ads ahead of time to see what's on sale and when.
The lowest doorbuster pricing is frequently found on computers with low specifications. You can utilize the "extra" money to enhance your storage and processing power because the price is already lower than usual. Learn how much RAM you really need with this PCMag tutorial. Keep in mind that due to workforce shortages, chip shortages, and delivery constraints that manufacturers are experiencing this year, if you're customizing your laptop in any way, you should expect a lengthier shipment period.

Do you require a new tablet? Tablets are one of the most popular Black Friday purchases. Check out Best Buy and Target for iPad bargains on Black Friday; both are almost certain to have them. Also, keep an eye out for Amazon's own discounts (Fire tablets and Kindles). Amazon reduced the price of the Fire HD 8 tablet to under $50 (from $89.99), the Fire HD 10 tablet to $79.99 (from $150), and the Fire HD 10 Plus tablet to $119 on Prime Day.
Small Electronic Appliances
Set your sights on Black Friday if you've been debating whether or not to buy a new expensive stand mixer, blender, air fryer, or pressure cooker.
Black Friday deals on pressure cookers like Instant Pot and air fryers are so prevalent that they're nearly expected. Expect a 50% discount on everything.
Blenders, such as those from NutriBullet and Vitamix will also be heavily discounted. You can save money at such stores but also look for Black Friday specials at Walmart, Target, Kohl's, and Macy's. Kohl's is known for its unique Kohl's Cash discounts on small appliances, and Kohl's Cash might come in useful for last-minute holiday shopping.
And if there's one kitchen item to keep an eye on Black Friday, it's a KitchenAid mixer. Several models are available, and several are consistently discounted by $100 or more during Black Friday deals. Bed Bath & Beyond, Macy's, Home Depot, Kohl's, and KitchenAid are the retailers to check for these bargains. We witnessed these mixers rocket off the shelves last year. And we share the same vibe in obtaining the right color for your kitchen, so if it's on your wish list, make the KitchenAid mixer the first item you put into your cart this year.

Airpods and Earbuds
Airpods and competing earbuds have been the stars of the Black Friday show for the previous two seasons, with stores like Walmart and Target featuring tempting discounts front and center in their marketing. In 2020, Walmart's Black Friday sale offered the Airpods Pro (full price: $249) for a record low of $169. Target reduced the Powerbeats Pro's $249.95 price to $160, and Kohl's offered them for $199 + $60 in Kohl's Cash. As a result, huge things are expected from these products this year.
Don't forget about Amazon's Echo Buds (usually $119.99), which were reduced to $80 for Prime Day and will most likely be repeated for Black Friday.

There will be unlimited promotions and sales on Black Friday for anyone who doesn't have an Amazon Echo speaker or a pair of Google Nest smart speakers. There are always some. On Black Friday, Amazon and Google contribute towards a long-standing habit of slashing prices on their smart speakers by 40% or more. BOGO deals are also prevalent, with a smart lamp, smart plug, or even another smart speaker threw in for free. Google and Amazon want as many people as possible to buy into their ecosystem of products. Therefore they've slashed the pricing of smart speakers (their gateway devices). If you remember, during Black Friday 2020, Amazon's Echo Show smart video screen was reduced to $44.99 (a 50% discount).
Video Games
Given that all of the major consoles are still relatively new and extremely popular, finding a bargain on any gaming system this year will be difficult. Every year, however, shops such as Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and GameStop offer a variety of video game offers.
For $15, there are a plethora of offerings. While the most popular titles are unlikely to fall that low, Walmart did offer certain popular Nintendo Switch games for $20 off last year.

Smartwatches & Fitness Gadgets
Black Friday is the perfect shot at upgrading or purchasing a smartwatch or fitness gadget if you don't already have one.
Black Friday is undoubtedly one of the best chances for you when the Apple Watch is virtually always on sale. This implements in both older and newer models. On the newest model of the Apple Watch (this year's Series 7), you won't find the absolute largest savings, but you might discover some. On Cyber Monday in 2020, Target discounted the Series 6 by $30. Older models (the Series 3 & Series 6) will, however, be heavily discounted, with reductions of up to $50.
Check out Fitbit and other fitness trackers if you don't need a full-fledged smartwatch. Last year, we saw the basic Fitbit Inspire for 30% down and the more powerful Fitbit Charge 4 for 25% off. This fall, Fitbit will release a new version (Charge 5), so keep your fingers crossed for any Black Friday offers.
Home Stuff (Sheets and Towels)
The unsung hero of Black Friday is linen cabinet items. However, if you need to stock up, towels and bedding are a fantastic Black Friday bargain. Target, Macy's, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Kohl's all have them on clearance for up to 60% off. They're also unexpectedly popular, selling out in a matter of days.

Product NOT to Buy This Black Friday
Clothing
On Black Friday, you'll find a plethora of clothing offers. However, rather than being offered on a broad scale, these discounts are frequently limited to certain items. Plus, there's no need to hurry out and buy clothes on Black Friday because retailers will give discounts ranging from 20% to 60% off your entire order throughout Cyber Weekend. So, if you're interested in apparel, start with the goods listed above (which WILL sell out) and then move on to refreshing your wardrobe.

Cheapest 4K TV
Retailers work hard to tempt you to buy that dirt-cheap doorbuster TV by prominently featuring it in their Black Friday advertisements. However, that television is hardly the best investment you could make. For starters, it'll sell out in a matter of minutes. For another, it's most likely a low-cost knockoff that will break down and need to be replaced in a few years. Instead, go for a better set at a lower price, or wait until shortly before the Super Bowl, when merchants offer specials on higher-quality TV sets.
If you're out shopping for TVs on Black Friday, make sure you know what SKUs mean so you know exactly what you're receiving.
Gaming Zone
The most recent Xbox and PlayStation systems are still scarce and will not be discounted this holiday season. The new Nintendo Switch OLED is the same, and even the original Switch is unlikely to be discounted (although you might find some bundled deals, with games and accessories thrown in). In terms of the Switch Lite, we've seen various colors discounted by $10 this year, so you might be able to locate some deals on Black Friday. Overall, gaming consoles will not receive any significant discounts this year, so don't make them your priority.
Furniture
Furniture deals can be found in the Black Friday ads of big shops, and furniture stores will hold their own sales. However, unless you definitely need to replace that sectional, bed, or dining room table, there's no reason to shop for furniture on Black Friday and divert your attention away from other sensible purchases. In fact, on Presidents Day in February, you'll have another chance to save big on furniture.
