The Litter Robot is a gadget designed to help with one of the most difficult aspects of being a cat owner (in our case, several cat owners): cleaning the litter box.
It measures 68 centimeters across, 62 centimeters in diameter, 74 centimeters in height, and weighs around 10 kilograms. It is obvious from the outset that it is massive. When you look at it, it is rather scary for a cat and may take up a lot of space.
It is made of solid plastic, and the appliance quality is rather good based just on the look and feel, and its durability is obvious in its construction.

The Litter-Robot 3 Connect is an automated self-cleaning litter box that is WiFi enabled. It gives an indication when the waste container needs to be cleaned. It reduces the quantity of litter generated. It completely eliminates the foul odor. Without a doubt, it is the greatest invention of all time! Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but it's greatly enhanced my connection with my house and cats. It also appears to be a spacecraft.
I was first reluctant since I'm not a big lover of technology and didn't believe either cat would be interested in using this gadget. R.T. is a fussy eater, and Lilly despises any kind of whirring sounds. As a result, I had low hopes for introducing my pets to a climbing robot.
My fear of technology was easily overcome. Thanks to the instruction guide, the Litter-Robot was simple to set up, connect to WiFi, and begin recording metrics. The app soon became my favorite because it not only alerts me when it's time to empty the box but also allows me to control the gadget remotely. For example, we were out of town for a few days around Christmas and forgot to turn it off before leaving. I was able to open the app and turn it off from 400 miles away.
I can check how frequently my cats have used the Litter-Robot and make modifications via the app, such as turning on and off the night light (yes, there is a blue night light, so your cats don't trip over themselves if they need to go at 3 a.m.).
Plus, instead of fretting and feeling awful about forgetting to sweep litter for three days, I can now check the app to see if the drawer is full or not. Furthermore, because the Litter-Robot sensor starts the cleaning cycle after each use, there is always a clean place for the cats to use. You can also modify how long it takes for your cat to exit the box for the cycle to begin!
Did I forget to mention that you can link your Litter-Robot to other smart home devices using IFTTT technology?
For example, once the Litter-Robot cycle is complete, you may start cleaning up any stray litter with an iRobot vacuum. Even yet, there won't be nearly as much garbage to dispose of. This is extravagant!
